Cookies

When you first visit, nothing non-essential is set. A banner asks whether we may use advertising and analytics cookies — rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works identically either way.

Essential (always on)

A single cookie (cdr_consent) remembers the choice you made on the banner, for up to six months. If you start a comparison, your progress may be kept in your own browser's storage — it never leaves your device that way.

Advertising (only with your consent)

We advertise on Google and Microsoft. With your consent, their measurement tags (Google and Microsoft Advertising UET) set cookies that tell us an ad led to a visit or an enquiry, so we can tell which advertising is worth paying for. Without consent, no advertising cookies are set: both tags run in cookieless "consent mode", sending only anonymous signals that cannot identify you.

Analytics (only with your consent)

With your consent, Google Analytics helps us measure how the site is used — which pages help and where people give up — so we can improve it. Without consent, no analytics cookies are set and we receive only anonymous, aggregated signals.

Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: (also in the footer of every page). Withdrawing consent stops the tags from loading on your future visits; you can also clear existing cookies in your browser settings.
